Fred H. Black, 74, of Tuscola, IL, died at 7:45 PM, Monday, October 2, 2006 at his residence.
Graveside Services will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday, October 6, 2006 at the Tuscola Township Cemetery, with the Rev. Joseph Carter officiating. Visitation will be held 1 hour prior to the service at the Hilligoss Shrader Funeral Home, 705 South Main Street, Tuscola, IL. Burial will be in the Tuscola Township Cemetery with military graveside rites accorded.
Mr. Black was born on February 10, 1932 in Springfield, IL, the son of William and Lydia Nichols Black. He married Elizabeth A. DiGiacomo on February 11, 1965 in Springfield, IL. She preceded him in death on June 8, 2005.

He was preceded in death by his Parents, 2 Brothers, 3 Sisters

Mr. Black was an upholsterer. He was an EMT technician for Ace Ambulance Service in Tuscola, IL for many years. He was a member of the Tuscola Moose Lodge and the Tuscola VFW Post #10009. He was a US Army Korean War Veteran.
