Franklin R. Durham, 57, of Tuscola, IL, passed away on Friday, May 24, 2019 at his residence.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m., Friday, May 31, 2019 at the Forty Martyrs Catholic Church, 201 East Van Allen Street, Tuscola, IL with Father Angel Sierra as celebrant. Burial will be in the St. Joseph Cemetery, rural Bongard, IL.
Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m., Thursday, May 30, 2019 at the Hilligoss Shrader Funeral Home, 705 South Main Street, Tuscola, IL.
Frank was born on March 27, 1962 in Peoria, IL, the son of Edwin Merle and Patricia Anne McCormick Durham.
Survivors include his mother, son: Edwin (Megan) Durham of Bloomington, IL, siblings: Judith (Mark Schriener) Springer, Edwin L. Durham, David (Lisa) Durham, Mary (Nick) DiGrispino, Gesele Durham and Jennifer Durham and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father Edwin Merle Durham, and sister, Patricia Anne Durham.
Frank was the district sales manager for LG Seeds. He graduated from Princeville High School, Illinois Central College and Illinois State University. Frank was a member of his High School football team. Although Frank always claimed his mother's cooking was the best, he claimed that the spaghetti from the ICC cafeteria was the best he ever ate. While at ISU, Frank was a proud member of the the Farm House fraternity. Frank was an avid Illini, Chicago Bears and St. Louis Cardinals fan and enjoyed tailgating at Illini football games. He was also a member of Pheasants Forever. Frank also loved his dachshunds, Ralph and Skip, who also survive.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the Tuscola Community High School FFA Club.
