Frank C. Williams, 84, of Tuscola, IL, passed away at 6:50 p.m., Tuesday, August 26, 2014 at the Arcola Health Care Center, Arcola, IL

Funeral services celebrating his life will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, August 30, 2014 at the Hillligoss Shrader Funeral Home, 705 South Main Street, Tuscola, IL, with Rev. Kenneth Roedder officiating. Visitation will be held 1 hour prior to the services at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Tuscola Township Cemetery, Tuscola, IL

Frank was born on January 11, 1930 in Seminole, OK, the son of Leonard Cleveland and Claude Logue Williams. He married Rosemary "Rosie" Lewis on September 18, 1954 in Sullivan, IL. She preceded him in death on October 19, 2002.

Survivors include his son: Earl Leon (Donna) Williams of Tuscola, daughter: Teri Sue (Rocky) McGarigle of Broadlands, 3 grandchildren: Chantel Corrie, Hillary Webb and Cliff Williams, 5 great-grandchildren: Kerrigan, Makenna, Miranda, Axton and Harper.

He was preceded in death by his parents, 3 brothers and 6 sisters.

Frank worked as a union operating engineer from 1947 until his retirement. He was a life time member of the Operating Engineer Union #841 in Terra Haute, IN. He was a member of the Tuscola United Church of Christ, Tuscola Masonic Lodge #332, AF & AM, Tuscola Elks Club and the Tuscola Moose Lodge.

Memorial contribution may be made to the American Cancer Society- Douglas County Relay for Life.
