Obituary
Francis "Frank" E. Streible, 77, of Arthur, died at 5:30 PM Wednesday, December 26, 2012 at Mason Point Nursing Home, Sullivan.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM Saturday, December 29, 2012 at Shrader Funeral Home, 431 S. Vine Street, Arthur, with Rev. Barry Harmon officiating. Burial will follow in the Arthur Cemetery with military rites by Arthur American Legion Post. Visitation will be held two hours prior to the funeral service.
Frank was born September 12, 1935 in Meade County, Kentucky, the son of Wayne and Hallie Mitchell Streible. He married Joyce Wilhelm in Arthur on November 10, 1961.
He is survived by his wife, Joyce Streible of Arthur; son, Leslie, and his children, Gage and Logan of Atwood; daughter, Diana Dinger and husband Steve of Mt. Pulaski and their son, Mike, and his son, Dusten; sister, Joan Magee of Palestine, Texas; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, three sisters, and a grandson.
Frank was employed at Caterpillar in Decatur for 31 years where he was a Final Adjuster. He retired in 1993. He was a member of the Arthur American Legion and a life member of the Arthur Sportsman Club.
Frank served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War.
