Frances Studnicka McNabb, 81, of Paxton, IL, formerly of Tuscola, IL, passed away at 7:12 a.m . on Friday, December 7, 2012 at the Carle Foundation Hospital, Urbana, IL

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 pm, Tuesday, December 11, 2012 at the Hilligoss Shrader Funeral Home, 705 South Main Street, Tuscola, IL with Pastor Glen Crouse officiating. Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 pm, Monday at the Rantoul Christian Church, North Maplewood Drive, Rantoul, IL. Burial will be in the Tuscola Township Cemetery, Tuscola, IL.

Frances was born on May 26, 1931 in Morris, OK, the daughter of Dennis "Dugan" and Irene Richison Meigs. She married Charles J. Studnicka, Sr. on June 15, 1952 in Salem, IL. He preceded her on January 2, 1993.

Survivors include her son: Charles Studnicka, Jr. of Champaign, IL, daughters: Susan Studnicka of Champaign, IL and Barbara Workman of Mahomet, IL, 2 grandchildren: Kaytlin and Kristopher Workman, 3 step-grandchildren: Danielle Bettinger, Zachary Bettinger and Brittany Bettinger, sister: Peggy Schaubert of Salem, IL.

She was preceded by her daughter: Linda Jean Studnicka and her brother: John Meigs.

Memorials are suggested to a library of the donor's choice or Asta Care Center, Paxton, IL

Frances was a homemaker and formerly worked at Littelfuse. She was a member of the Rantoul Christian Church. She was an avid reader, enjoyed fine arts and had a thirst for knowledge.
