Frances was born on March 1st, 1926 in Tuscola, IL, the daughter of Walter and Ethel Freeman Brinkley. She married Denver Laverne Robinson on September 13, 1941 in Palmyra, Missouri.

Survivors include her loving and devoted husband of 72 years, Denver Robinson; daughters: Sandra Kesterson and Diana (Norman) Carroll; son: David (Cindy) Robinson; four grandchildren: Pattie (Jeff) Wilson; Lori (Greg) Miller; Matt Carroll; Shawn (Kim) Robinson; and five great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, infant sister Anabelle, sister Audrey Burch, and twin brothers Harold and Harry Brinkley.

Frances was a homemaker, and she also worked at Atkinson Monument, the Four Seasons Department Store, and as a caretaker of the Bache Memorial Chapel. She was modest, funny, hard-working, and caring. She discussed national politics with gusto and believed in the importance of voting. She and Denver loved to spend their vacations driving out west, to the Pacific Northwest, and especially to Canada. She had fun playing card games with family. She loved animals, particularly dogs and cats. She greatly enjoyed flower gardening. An excellent cook, she prepared outstanding soups, entrees, cookies, and pies for summer get-togethers, Thanksgiving, and Christmas Eve parties.

Above all Frances treasured her family. Even when her health declined, she loved to drink coffee and visit with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She will be greatly missed.
