Frances V. Obrecht, 82, of Tuscola, IL, died at 8:15 PM, Tuesday, February 21, 2006 at the Provena Covenant Medical Center, Urbana, Illinois
Funeral Services will be held 11 AM, Friday, February 24, 2006 at the Three Hierarchs Greek Orthodox Church, 2010 Three Hierarchs Court, Champaign, IL, with Father George Pyle officiating. Visitation will be held from 6-8 PM, Thursday, February 23, 2006 at the Hilligoss Shrader Funeral Home, 705 South Main Street, Tuscola, IL and 1 hour prior to the services at the church. A Trisagion Service will be held at 7:00 PM, Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Tuscola Township Cemetery, Tuscola, IL
Mrs. Obrecht was born on June 28, 1923 in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada, the daughter of Gregory and Helen Neriuoka Lemny. She married Burlin C. Obrecht on June 8, 1946 in Detroit, MI. He survives.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Mrs. Obrecht and her husband owned and operated Tuscola Auto Body. She was a homemaker. She was a member of the Three Hierarchs Greek Orthodox Church, Champaign, IL and the Philoptochos Society at the church. She enjoyed oil painting and she decorated Pysanka (Easter) Eggs.
