Faye Marie Teak, 99, of Tuscola, IL, passed away at 11:15 a.m., Friday, February 22, 2019 at the Tuscola Health Care Center, Tuscola, IL

Funeral Services will be held at 12:00 p.m., Tuesday, February 26, 2019 at the Hilligoss Shrader Funeral Home, 705 South Main Street, Tuscola, IL with Rev. Ralph Deal officiating. Burial will be in the Tuscola Township Cemetery.

Visitation will be held 1 hour prior to the services at the funeral home.

Faye was born on August 1, 1919 at Raymond, IL, the daughter of Louis M. and Minnie A. Felk Lange.

Surviving are her children: Sandy Teak of Bloomington, IL and Gary (Rebecca) Teak of Sparks, NV, three grandsons, four great-grandchildren and 5 great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a sister and three brothers.

Faye graduated from Raymond Community High School. She worked at Allis Chalmers during World War II, processing parts to be shipped overseas. Faye worked at General Telephone, Douglas County Sheriff's Department, Douglas County ASCS office and retired from Burnham City Hospital.

Faye was a member of the Tuscola United Church of Christ, were she was a deaconess and member of the choir. She had great resolve to accomplish whatever needed to be done. Her amazing banana cream pie, her humor and laughter will be greatly missed.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the donor's choice.
