Faye E. "Ene" Reece, 86, of Tuscola, IL passed away at 11:10 a.m. Monday, March 18, 2013 at the Tuscola Health Care Center, Tuscola, IL.

Celebration of Life services will be held at 6:00 p.m. Thursday, March 21, 2013 at the Tuscola United Methodist Church, 901 North Prairie Street, Tuscola, IL with Rev. Patty Johansen officiating. Hilligoss Shrader Funeral Home, Tuscola, IL is entrusted with the arrangements.

Mrs. Reece was born February 7, 1927 in Lorena, TX the daughter of Hugh and Mammie Anthony Brazil. She married Robert H. "Bob" Reece on May 8, 1943 in Harlingen, TX. He survives.

She is also survived by her son Morrie Reece and wife: Sue of Wildwood, MO; daughter: Sonya Lu Stickel and husband: Jack of Tuscola, IL; granddaughters: Allison Harper of Chesterfield, MO and Tammy Bennett of Tuscola, IL; 4 great-grandchildren: Grace Jacob, Matthew Bennett, Thomas Bennett and Andrew Bennett.

Ene was preceded in death by her parents, 1 brother and 1 sister.

Ene was a member of the Tuscola United Methodist Church, Tuscola American Legion Post #27 Auxiliary and the Tuscola Moose Lodge. She and her husband, Bob, were the 1998 Tuscola Homecoming Parade Grand Marshals. They were awarded the TCHS Outstanding Sports Fan Award.

Ene formerly worked at Dunn's Drug Store and was a receptionist at Century Motors and Four Season's Auto Plaza until her retirement.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions are suggested to the SAM Food Pantry or the Douglas County Relay for Life.
