Evelyn Quinn French, 79, of Tuscola, IL, passed away at 1:55 A.M., Saturday, April 21, 2007 at the Manor Care Health Services, Decatur, IL

Memorial Services celebrating her life will be held at 4:00 P.M., Tuesday, April 24, 2007 at the Tuscola United Methodist Church, 901 North Prairie Street, Tuscola, IL, with the Rev. Kenneth Roedder officiating. The family will greet friends 1 hour prior to the services at the church. Private family interment will be held at the Tuscola Township Cemetery. The Hilligoss Shrader Funeral Home, 705 South Main Street, Tuscola, IL has been entrusted with the arrangements.

Mrs. French was born on July 7, 1927 in Cooks Mills, IL, the daughter of Otis Patrick and Martha Rachel Anderson Quinn. She married Wilbur Eugene French on September 7, 1947 in Mattoon, IL. He preceded her in death on September 17, 1992.

Survivors include: 3 Sons: Steve French of Tuscola, IL, Gary French and wife: Brenda of Lincoln, IL, Jim French and wife: Valarie of Clinton, IL, 1 Daughter: Connie Goodrich and husband: Kent of Alexandria, VA, 1 Sister: Oleta Winchester of Dowagiac, MI, 8 Grandchildren: Teri Woods and husband: Robert, Bradley Goodrich, Kristen French, Ashley Hallock and husband: Mike, Alex French, Jason French, Matthew French and Nathan French, 3 Great-Grandchildren: Elli Chartier, Andrew Woods and Madison Woods.

She was preceded in death by her Parents, 1 Brother: John Robert Quinn and 1 Sister: Elaine Janes

In Lieu of Flowers, Memorials are suggested by the family to the Alzheimer's Association, 2027 South Main St., Suite 3, Bloomington, IL 61704, the Tuscola United Methodist Church Building Fund or to an organization of the Donor's Choice.

Mrs. French was a homemaker and lecturer for Weight Watchers. She was a member of the Tuscola United Methodist Church and she thought a lot of her Sunday School Chapel Class. She enjoyed volunteering for the North Ward School Breakfast Program. She was a very faithful and loyal friend.
