Esther M. Ford, 88, of Atwood, IL, died at 1:15 PM, Thursday, October 5, 2006 at the St. Mary's Hospital, Decatur, IL
Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 A.M., Saturday, October 7, 2006 at the Immanuel Lutheran Church, 600 East Northline Road, Tuscola, IL, with the Rev. Michael J. Ruhlig officiating. No Visitation will be held. Burial will be in the Hammond Cemetery, Hammond, IL. The Hilligoss Shrader Funeral Home, 66 East US Highway 36, Atwood, IL is handling the arrangements.
Mrs. Ford was born on March 8, 1918, the daughter of John and Martha Grimm. She married Wayne H. Ford on December 3, 1938. He preceded her in death in 1996.
Survivors include: 2 Sons: James W. Ford of Southport, NC, Jon M. Ford of Winter Haven, FL, 2 Daughters: Jacque Baer of Hammond, IL, Jeannie Johnson of Lady Lake, FL, 1 Sister: Bette Koch of Bradenton, FL, 5 Grandchildren, 7 Great-Grandchildren
She was preceded in death by a Grandson, 2 Sisters and 2 Brothers.
Mrs. Ford was a homemaker. She was a member of the Immanuel Lutheran Church, Tuscola, IL. Esther will be deeply missed by her family and friends.
