Ernetta Georgia Ohnesorge, 95, of Arthur, died at 6:58 AM Sunday, November 8, 2015 at the Arthur Home.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday, November 11, 2015 at Shrader Funeral Home, 431 S. Vine Street, Arthur, with Pastor Duane Kuhns and Rev. Paul Fraser officiating. Burial will follow in the Arthur Cemetery. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the funeral service at the funeral home.
Ernetta was born January 24, 1920 in Arthur the daughter of Ernest and Ruth Clark Behen. She was united in marriage to her soul mate Leonard Ohnesorge on September 26, 1939 in St. Louis; he preceded her in death on July 13, 2015, having shared 75 years together.
Survivors include her daughter, Lynett (Chancey) Ball of Decatur; 2 grandchildren, Brian (Heather) Ball of White Heath, Jodi (Ben) Egan of Haymarket, Virginia; 3 great grandchildren, Charlie and Brady Ball and Claire Egan; niece, Cheryl (Dan) Kaziny of Houston, Texas; great nephew, Brent (Susan) Kaziny; great-great niece, Olive Kaziny both of Houston, Texas. She was preceded in death by her sister, June (Jim) Lamb and her parents.
Ernetta was a member of the Vine Street Christian Church of Arthur where she was also active in the Christian Women's Fellowship and also a member of the American Legion Auxiliary. She was a welder at Progress Industries for 4 years during World War II and then moved to the office. She also worked at the Ben Franklin Store in Arthur and retired as a sales clerk from the Villa.
