Ernestine Etzwiler Davis, 87, of Tuscola, formerly of Lawrenceville, died at 10:02 AM Monday, January 28, 2008 at her residence in Tuscola, IL

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM, Saturday, February 2, 2008 at Hilligoss Shrader Funeral Home, 705 S. Main Street, Tuscola, IL with Rev. Harold Williamson officiating. Visitation will be held 5:00-7:00 PM Friday at the funeral home. Graveside services will be held at 3:00 PM Saturday at the Lawrenceville City Cemetery, Lawrenceville, IL

Mrs. Davis was born November 24, 1920 in Bridgeport, the daughter of Ernest and Rhoda Roland Montgomery. She was the fourth child and oldest girl of eleven children. She married Donald H. Etzwiler on September 25, 1940; he preceded her in death on August 23, 1976. She later married Forest Davis on January 4, 1980; he preceded her in death on October 26, 1999.

Survivors include two children, Carol Ann Bushu and husband Larry of Arcola, Richard Lee Etzwiler and wife Valerie of Lakeside, Arizona; grandchildren, Kevin Bushu and wife Kelly of St. Joseph, Michigan, Allison Phillips and husband Mike of Arcola, Debbie Gomes and husband Mark of Nickerson, Kansas, Amy Blew and husband Rex of Pretty Prairie, Kansas, Denise Etzwiler of Mirana, Arizona; great grandchildren, Joshua, Jacob, Justin, and Jackson Bushu, Braden Phillips, Conor and Colton Gomes, Chesley and Chandra Camp.

Mrs. Davis worked for Mitchell's Department Store in Tuscola for many years. She was a member of the Lawrenceville United Methodist Church. She loved playing cards, doing crosswords, and knitting. Her favorite thing to do was to be with family.
