Erma M. King Edwards, 77, of Arthur, formerly of Arcola, died at 3:04 a.m. Wednesday, February 13, 2019 at the Arthur Home.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, February 18, 2019 at Shrader Funeral Home, 204 N. Locust Street, Arcola. Burial will follow in the Pleasant Grove Cemetery, Cooks Mills. Visitation will be from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.

Erma was born January 25, 1942 in rural Arthur, the daughter of Donald and Wanetta Scotton Ellison.

She is survived by her son, Mike King of Arcola; daughter, Abby (Zach) Morton of Wichita Falls, Texas; 4 grandchildren, Joe (Trisha) Kleiboeker of Gillette, Wyoming; Jennifer (Will) Thompson, Teresa Kleiboeker, and Dustin Morton all of Wichita Falls, Texas; 8 great grandchildren; 4 sisters-in-law, Sandi Ellison of Omaha, Nebraska; Estella Mae Braddox of Wayne City, Shirley Jean (Owen) Richardson of Mt. Zion,  and Phyllis (Charles) Morgan of Ft. Myers, Florida.

She was preceded in death by her parents; 2 sons, David Lee and Chris King; and 3 brothers, David, Richard, and Jeff Ellison.

Erma was a homemaker.
