Erika E. Williams, 18, of Tuscola, IL, passed away at 9:55 P.M., Sunday, August 24, 2008 at the Sarah Bush Lincoln Health Center, Mattoon, IL, as a result of an automobile accident in Coles County, IL

Funeral Services celebrating her life will be held at 11:00 A.M., Thursday, August 28, 2008 at the Hilligoss Shrader Funeral Home, 705 South Main Street, Tuscola, IL with the Rev. Joseph Carter officiating. Visitation will be held from 4:00 to 8:00 P.M., Wednesday, August 27, 2008 at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Tuscola Township Cemetery, Tuscola, IL.

Erika was born on February 17, 1990 in Champaign, IL

Survivors include her mother and step-father: Doreen and Del Lingafelter of Tuscola, IL, 2 Brothers: Johnathan Williams of Tuscola and Cliff Williams of Villa Grove, IL, 4 Sisters: Misty Kleiss and husband: David of Tuscola, Laura Mielenz of Demotte, IN, Jeri Williams of Tuscola, IL, Melissa Williams of Rossville, IL, Step-Brother: Alex Lingafelter of Champaign, IL, 1 Step-Sister: Autumn Lingafelter of Tuscola, Maternal Grandparents: Carolyn and Gene McClure of Villa Grove, IL, Richard and Linda Mielenz of Hammond, IN, Paternal Grandmother: Phyllis Williams of Tuscola, IL, Paternal Grandparents: Delbert and Jeri Lingafelter of Tuscola, IL, Niece: McKenna Kleiss, Nephew: Kyler Williams, many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Erika was a 2008 Graduate of Tuscola Community High School, where she participated in Volleyball and Student Council. She worked at Claire's Boutique and Burger King both in Tuscola. She loved riding around and spending time with her family and friends and taking her niece to the park.
