Emmanuel H. Fauke, 65, of Atwood, IL, passed away at 9:30 a.m., Monday, July 22, 2013 at his residence.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 am, Saturday, July 27, 2013 at Hilligoss Shrader Funeral Home, 66 East US Highway 36, Atwood, IL. Visitation will be held 2 hours prior to the services on Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Cartwright Cemetery, rural Tuscola, IL with military graveside rites accorded.

Mr. Fauke was born January 18, 1948 in St. Louis, MO, the son of Herman F. and Anita L. Ziegler Fauke. He married Mary Ann Ricci on October 10, 2009 in Bethany, IL. She survives.

Other survivors include his daughters: Miranda Lofland of Bethany, IL; Kathryn Fauke, Shanta Fauke and Amanda Wilson all of Decatur; step-children: Tony Adamson and Marina Fleener both of Atwood, IL and Michelle Kellogg of Hesston, KS; 3 brothers: Paul Fauke of Tuscola, IL; James Fauke of Champaign, IL and John Fauke of Iowa City, IA; 2 sisters: Ruth Ann Cassidy of West Palm Beach, FL and Martha Rhoades of Hugo, IL; and 20 grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his son: Michael Fauke.

Emmanuel formerly worked as a welder for JustRite Manufacturing in Mattoon, IL. He was a member of the United Steel Workers Union Local 8390. Mr. Fauke was a United States Army Veteran, serving during the Vietnam War Era.
