Obituary
Emma D. Jent, 87, of Arthur, IL passed away at 2:26 p.m. Monday, February 11, 2013 at the Arthur Home, Arthur, IL.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, February 14, 2013 at Shrader Funeral Home, 431 S. Vine St., Arthur, IL with Rev. John Stewart officiating. Visitation will be held 1 hour prior to services at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Arthur Cemetery, Arthur, IL.
Mrs. Jent was born July 25, 1925 in Macon County, TN the daughter of Turner and Alta Gibbs Dotson. Emma married Herschel Jent on July 21, 1945 in Sullivan, IL. He preceded her in death on August 10, 1999.
Survivors include her daughter: Diana (Kenny) Rigney; sons: Gary (Linda) Jent and Danny (Linda) Jent all of Arthur, IL. Grandchildren: Tonya Hyde of Monticello, IL; David (Lisa) Jent of Arthur, IL; Mike (Carolyn) Jent of Fisher, IL; Gary Jent of Arthur, IL; Travis Rigney of Arthur, IL and Julie Irwin of Frederick, CO; great grandchildren: Lindsey and Lauren Franklin of Monticello, IL; Jenna and Jordan Jent of Arthur, IL; Emma Jent of Fisher, IL; Shelby Jent of Sullivan, IL and Colton Irwin of Frederick, CO.
Emma was preceded in death by her parents, 3 sisters, 1 brother and a great granddaughter: Meagan Jent.
She retired from Brown Shoe Company in Sullivan, IL and Schrock Cabinet Company in Arthur, IL.
Memorials are suggested to the Arthur Home or Charity of Donor's Choice.
