Elizabeth G. "Betty" Ogden, 71, of Tuscola, IL, passed away at 10:45 A.M., Wednesday, January 2, 2008 at the Tuscola Health Care Center, Tuscola, IL
Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 A.M., Saturday, January 5, 2007 at the Hilligoss Shrader Funeral Home, 705 South Main Street, Tuscola, IL, with the Rev. Joseph Carter officiating. Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 P.M., Friday, January 4, 2008 at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Tuscola Township Cemetery, Tuscola, IL.
Mrs. Ogden was born on September 7, 1936 in Douglas County, IL, the daughter of A. Clark and Sarah Gaylord Edwards. She married Winfred O. "Dutch" Ogden on October 3, 1958 in Arthur, IL. He preceded her in death on March 16, 1991.
Survivors include: 2 Sons: John Wesley Ogden and wife; Judy of Millbrook, AL, Jeffrey Reece Ogden and wife: Shirley of Tuscola, IL, 1 Sister: Marjorie Hahn of Newman, IL, 3 Grandchildren, 1 Great-Granddaughter, Several Nieces and Nephews.
She was preceded in death by her Parents, 3 Brothers and 2 Sisters.
Mrs. Ogden was a former registered nurse at Jarman Memorial Hospital in Tuscola, IL. She was a graduate of the Burnham School of Nursing in Champaign, IL
