Elijah Daniel Robinson, 13, of rural Atwood, IL, passed away at 6:39 P.M., Tuesday, June 3, 2008, northwest of Arthur, IL, as a result of an automobile accident.

Services celebrating his life will be held at 3:00 P.M., Sunday, June 8, 2008 at the Hilligoss Shrader Funeral Home, 66 East US Highway 36, Atwood, IL. Visitation will be held from 4:00 to 8:00 P.M., Saturday, June 7, 2008 at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Lewis Cemetery, rural Tuscola, IL

"Daniel" was a beloved son and brother. At the age of 13, he was an uncle of four nieces and ten nephews. He loved life and being with family. He always had time to fly a kite with a niece or nephew as well as spend time building model rockets, and writing like his mother. He was a Senior Airman with the Civil Air Patrol in Charleston, IL, and had aspirations to become a pilot in the Air Force one day, as well as an inventor, novelist and a police officer.

Survivors include his Parents: Michael & Rhonda Robinson of Atwood, Grandmother: Maurine Robinson of Shelbyville, Brothers: Christopher and his wife: Michelle Robinson of Tuscola, Thomas Robinson of Atwood, Sisters: Jami and her husband: Jared Saunders of Atwood, Sarah and her husband: Travis Taylor of Atwood, Kelly and her husband: Ryan Arwine of Tuscola,Chelsea and her husband: Aaron Leynes of Decatur, Hannah Robinson of Atwood and Emily Robinson of Atwood.

He was preceded in death by his Maternal Grandfather: Robert Robinson and his Paternal Grandparents: Martha "Ryder" Robinson and John Robinson
