Obituary
Eileen Frances Shrontz, 92, of Mattoon, formerly of Bourbonnais, died at 1:30 PM Tuesday, August 19, 2014 at the Odd Fellow-Rebekah Home in Mattoon.
Burial will be in the Elmwood Cemetery, Manteno, at a later date. Shrader Funeral Home, 204 N. Locust Street, Arcola, is assisting the family with arrangements.
Eileen was born April 9, 1922 in Mt. Olive, the daughter of John and Violet Beckman Williams.
Survivors include her daughter, Nancy (Stanton) Dotson of Mattoon; son, Lyle (Christine) Shrontz of Kankakee; 4 grandsons; 7 great grandchildren; brother, Willard Williams of Ludington, Michigan.
Eileen lived most of her life in Kankakee County but lived the last 4 years in Mattoon to be near her daugher. She enjoyed crosswork puzzles, soap operas, and was an avid fan of the Chicago White Sox, Chicago Bears, and Chicago Bulls.
