Eileen Luster, 94, of Tuscola, IL, passed away at 10 a.m., Thursday, October 1, 2015 at the Tuscola Health Care Center, Tuscola, IL

Visitation will be held from 1 to 2 p.m., Monday, October 5, 2015 at the Hilligoss Shrader Funeral Home, 705 South Main Street, Tuscola, IL with graveside services following at the Tuscola Township Cemetery with Rev. Bob Williams officiating.

Eileen was born on April 22, 1921 in rural Fayette County, IL in a log cabin. She married Claude Luster, Jr. in 1946. He preceded her in death in 1976.

Surviving are three daughters: Vickie, Janet and Karen and a son: Doyle (Ann) and two grandchildren.

Also preceding her in death were three sons: Dennis, Dale and
Donald, three brothers: Dean, Bob and Raymond Carson.

Early on Eileen worked at the Houdaille-Hershey Plant in Decatur that helped make parts for the atomic bomb in the 1940's. She was an avid gardener and loved everything about canning and freezing all sorts of fruits and vegetables.

Her family was the center of her world and she will be truly missed.
