John Edward "Eddie" Wilson Sr., 85, of Tuscola, passed away at 1:05 p.m., Friday, December 16, 2022 at Carle Foundation Hospital, Urbana, IL

Funeral Services will be held at 12:00 p.m., Tuesday, December 20, 2022 at the Hilligoss Shrader Funeral Home, 705 South Main Street, Tuscola, IL. Burial will be in the Tuscola Township Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 10:30 a.m. until the time of the service on Tuesday at the funeral home.

Eddie was born on May 20, 1937 in Tuscola, the son of Herbert Webster and Elma Donnals Wilson. He married Jane L. Records on October 1, 1955 in Charleston, IL. She preceded him in death on July 19, 2004.

Survivors include his sons: John (Nancy) Wilson of Pesotum and Jeff (Pattie) Wilson of Tuscola, 5 grandchildren: Charles Ray, Jennifer Ray, Paige Wilson, Allie Wilson and Alex (Emma) Wilson, brother: Robert "Boz" Wilson of Tuscola.

He was preceded in death by his parents, son: Charles Webster Wilson and daughter and son-in-law: Marsha and Ed Ray.

Memorials are suggested to the Huntington's Disease Foundation.

Eddie worked at USI Chemical Company as an electrician for 35 years. He owned and operated Wilson's Plumbing, Heating and Air Conditioning. Eddie was a lifetime member of the Charleston and Tuscola Moose Lodge. He enjoyed fishing, motorcycle riding and watching NASCAR and stock car racing.
