Edwin L. "Ed" Moody, 70, of Tuscola, IL, passed away at 4:15 a.m. Monday, December 26, 2016 at Mason Point, Sullivan, IL.

Graveside Services with military rites accorded will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, December 30, 2016 at the Tuscola Township Cemetery, Tuscola, IL with Rev. Kenneth Roedder officiating. Visitation will be held 1 hour prior to the services at the Hilligoss Shrader Funeral Home, 705 South Main Street, Tuscola, IL.

Ed was born on September 20, 1946 in Linton, IN, the son of Jim and Viola Bradfield Moody. He married Mara S. Roark on August 8, 1974 at Terre Haute, IN. She survives.

Other survivors include his daughters: Dawn Hale (Dave Beck) of Tuscola and Tammy (Tracy) McCallister of Sullivan, grandchildren: Paige Gabbard, Lily Hale and Bailey Sparling, great-grandchildren: Wrigley and Rorey Hackett.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother: Doug Moody

Ed was a supervisor and maintenance worker in the Food Manufacturing industry. He served his country as a member of the US Navy during the Vietnam War.

He was a member of the Lyons United Methodist Church, Lyons, IN. Ed enjoyed playing golf and he loved his family very much.

Memorials are suggested to the Alzheimer's Association.
