Dylan Michael Taylor, 28, of Farmer City, formerly of Tuscola, passed away Saturday morning, November 23, 2024 at his residence.

Memorial Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., Wednesday, November 27, 2024 at the Hilligoss Shrader Funeral Home, 705 South Main Street, Tuscola, IL. Celebration of Life Services will be held immediately following the visitation.

Dylan was born on February 5, 1996 in Urbana.

Survivors include his parents: Mark and Heather Taylor Brown of Tuscola, brother: Preston Brown of Tuscola, fiancée: Chloe Lindbom of Farmer City, maternal grandfather: Bob Taylor of Tuscola, paternal grandparents: Larry Brown of Hudson, FL and Jean Hoke of Waverly, uncles: Rob (Laurie) Taylor of Monticello and Mike Taylor of Neoga, aunt: Bridget Brown of Edwardsville, several cousins and other extended family members. Dylan loved his dogs: Cooper and Augie.

Dylan was preceded in death by his sister: Tiffany Brown and maternal grandmother: Shirley Taylor.

Dylan was a 2014 graduate of Tuscola Community High School and attended Ivy Tech Community College. He worked for Ameren IL in Tuscola as a gas apprentice. Dylan was a former member of the Pipefitters Local #157 and the IBEW Local #51.

His hobbies included golfing, playing video games and spending time with his fiancée and his many friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the Dylan M. Taylor Memorial Scholarship Fund or to the Tuscola Community High School Golf Team.
