Dorothy Irene Taylor, 89, of Dacono, Colorado, formerly of Decatur and Arthur, died at
9:05 PM at her residence.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, November 19, 2011 at the Arthur Cemetery with Rev. Marsha Frederick officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at Shrader Funeral Home, 431 S. Vine Street, Arthur.
Mrs. Taylor was born June 4, 1922 in Arthur, the daughter of Raymond and Mable Harden Robinson. She was united in marriage to Robert Dean Taylor in Arthur on May 12, 1940; he preceded her in death on June 6, 2002.
Survivors include one son, Larry (Miyoko) Taylor of Stockton, California; one daughter, D. Jean Taylor of Dacono, Colorado; one sister, Grace West of Stewardson; 7 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; sister-in-law, Judy Robinson of Decatur; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by son, Randy; brother, Raymond Robinson, Jr; and sister, Margie Baugh.
She was a member of the Bement Presbyterian Church and a homemaker.
Memorials are suggested to the American Heart Association or American Diabetes Association.
