Doris graduated from Pasadena Nazarene College with her B.A. in Education majoring in English. She received an Associates Degree in Pedogogy at Universidad del Valle de Guatemala. She had taught English at Instituto Evangelico America Latina and Instituto de Julio Primero. She also worked part-time at the Arcola Public Library and tutored many individuals in English in her home.
Our mother, Mrs. Doris Perez, was one of the greatest prayer warriors we had in our lives! She was a woman of faith and would delight herself in serving Him in more ways than one! We honor and celebrate the life of a Godly woman, our Mom...We are privileged to honor her memory as one of the most dedicated English teachers (she was a caring and loving teacher), as a musician (playing the piano faithfully in Church), and as a pastor's wife (how she loved each and every congregation she served), and as our mother (how she sacrificed so much for us). She might have left this earth, but now she lives for eternity with HIM. Matthew 25:21.
Memorials are suggested to The Church of the Nazarene Spanish, 217 N. Ridge Street, Arcola, IL 61910.
