Dora Fae Wright, 92, of Newman, IL, formerly of Atwood, IL, passed away at 4:51 p.m., Wednesday, May 8, 2013 at the Newman Health Care Center, Newman, IL

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, May 11, 2013 at the Hilligoss Shrader Funeral Home, 66 East US Highway 36, Atwood, IL, with Willard Kauffman and Kent Conover officiating. Visitation will be held 1 hour prior to the services at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Lake Fork Cemetery, rural Atwood, IL.

Mrs. Wright was born on August 21, 1920 in Garrett, IL, the daughter of Charles and Elsie Foley Jones. She married Albert M. Wright on December 18, 1942 in Hannibal, MO. He preceded her in death in November 14, 1972.

Survivors include her daughter: Ruthann Spear and husband: Jim of Hammond, IL, grandchildren: Sheila Conner and her children: Marissa VonLanken, Brandon VonLanken and Linsey Robinson, Tim Conner and his children: Tim M. Conner, Shalynn Conner and Logan Conner, step-grandchildren: Steve (Gloria) Spear and their children: Devyn Spear, Isabel Spear and Parker Spear, Patience Helmuth and daughter: Alyssa Helmuth.

She was preceded in death by her parents, 6 brothers and 2 sisters.

Memorials are suggested to the Newman Health Care Center.

Mrs. Wright was a homemaker. She loved going to church, working in her flower gardens and crocheting.
