Donette Fife Bergeson, 85, of Tuscola, IL, passed away at 4:15 pm, Monday, October 25, 2010 at the Carle Foundation Hospital, Urbana, IL
Born November 23, 1924 in Brigham City, Utah, Donette, the daughter of Basil Charles and Edith Winifred Bowring Fife, lived her life with a flourish and flair using her artistic talents and creativity to make home a little brighter. She married Glenn Bernard Bergeson on June 1, 1948 in Salt Lake City, Utah. He preceded her in death on June 7, 2007.
Survivors include her brother: Charles Bowring Fife of Idaho Falls, ID, her son: Randy Bergeson and wife: Maureen of Tuscola, IL, daughters: JoL Hurd and husband: Clark of Tremonton, UT, Suzan Moulton and husband: Jim of Dubois, WY, Marci Zhang and husband: Andy of Schaumburg, IL, 13 Grandchildren, 6 Great-Grandchildren
She was preceded in death by her parents, brother: Basil Wynn Fife and sister: Adele Kofoed
Mrs. Bergeson was a retired assistant librarian at the Purdue University Library and a voracious reader and lover of crossword puzzles. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints-Tuscola Branch and served in many callings in the church faithfully. All assignments were completed without fail. She graduated from Brigham Young University with a BA in Radio Communication.
