Donaldean L. Bristol, 78, of Atwood, IL passed away at 5 pm Sunday, December 9, 2007 at St. Mary's Hospital, Decatur, IL.

Funeral Services will be 11 AM Thursday, December 13, 2007 at the Hilligoss Shrader Funeral Home, 66 E. US Highway 36, Atwood, IL with Rev. Veronica Walsh Don officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the funeral home. Burial will be in Mackville Cemetery, rural Atwood, IL.

Donaldean was born December 28, 1928 in Pierson Station, IL the daughter of Roy C. and M. Opal (Badger) Jones. She married John R. Bristol June 18, 1947 in Pierson Station, IL. He preceded her in death January 11, 1992.

She is survived by 2 Daughters: Ruth Ann Williams and husband Jim of Tuscola, IL; Linda C. Bristol of Atwood, IL; 1 Sister: Yvonne Harshbarger of Decatur, IL; Sister-in-Law: Helen Jones of Mt. Zion, IL.

She was preceded in death by her Parents and Brother, Leonard Jones.

Donaldean graduated from Atwood High School in 1946 and attended Eastern Illinois University for a year. She was employed by USI Chemical Company in Tuscola, IL for 8 ½ years as a typist. She was a member of the United Church of Atwood and the Pierson Women's Fellowship.
