Dolores G. Lane, 88, of Tuscola, IL, passed away at 5:20 P.M., Monday, April 23, 2007 at the Newman Health Care Center, Newman, IL

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 A.M., Friday, April 27, 2007 at the Forty Martyrs Catholic Church, 201 East Van Allen Street, Tuscola, IL, with Father Barry Harmon as celebrant. A Vigil Service will be held at 5:30 P.M., Thursday, April 26, 2007 at the Hilligoss Shrader Funeral Home, 705 South Main Street, Tuscola, IL, with visitation following from 6-8 PM. Burial will be held at the Tuscola Township Cemetery, Tuscola, IL.

Mrs. Lane was born on September 26, 1918 in Tuscola, IL, the daughter of Bruce and Susan Bulach Teeters. She married Claire Thomas Lane on October 3, 1942 in Tuscola, IL. He preceded her in death on October 21, 2002.

Survivors include: 2 Sons: David Lane of Mound, MN, Donald Lane of Hutchinson, KS, 1 Daughter: Judith Tharp of Hume, IL, 5 Grandchildren: Hilary Tharp, Angie Tharp, JJ Tharp, Daniel Lane and Heather Lane, 2 Sisters: Irene Rogers and Frances Hettinger both of Tuscola, IL, Sister-In-Law: Mary Teeters of Tuscola, IL,

She was preceded in death by her Parents, 1 Brother: Albert Teeters, 3 Sisters: Marie Teeters, Bernice Martin and Maurine Schultz

Mrs. Lane was a homemaker. She was a member of the Forty Martyrs Catholic Church and Altar Society. She was a member of the Douglas County Museum Association. She loved to play bridge, quilt and collect marbles and thimbles. She greatly loved her family and friends.
