Denni was born on May 9, 1942 in rural Arthur, IL, the daughter of Reid and Fern Eads Howell. She was the eldest of two girls.

Denni married Charles Roger Turner on July 27, 1957 in rural Arthur. He preceded her in death on July 20, 2005. She is survived by her children, Shelley Turner of Watseka, IL, Brad Turner of Tuscola, IL and Brian Turner of Elgin, IL; 8 Grandchildren and 2 Great- Grandchildren and sister, Dennette "Dee" Beachy of Tuscola, IL. Ever since moving to Tuscola in 1984, Denni has been active in her church, Tuscola United Methodist. A genuine friend to all she met. Besides having been an owner/ operator of Prairie Sisters Antique Mall in the local business community, she was always assisting and caring for those in need in their homes, Beth's Place or Jarman Center. She loved to bake, read and just be with friends and family. Her interests also included gardening and antiques. She was known to always be thinking of others, a sympathetic ear and willing to lend a hand. Denni was known for her gracious, kind and generous nature. As her birthday and Mother's Day approaches we her children wish to celebrate our blessing of having the sweetest, amazing mother. We could not have had better. Come share along with friends and family to celebrate her genuine example of caring.

Memorials can be made to The MDA - ALS Association, Beth's Place Women's Shelter or the Tuscola United Methodist Church Building Fund.
