Dennis C. Luster, 64, of Tuscola, IL, formerly of Decatur, IL, passed away at 9:00 pm, Friday, August 26, 2011 at the Carle Foundation Hospital, Urbana, IL
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 am, Tuesday, August 30, 2011 at the Hilligoss Shrader Funeral Home, 705 South Main Street, Tuscola, IL with the Rev. Scott Zorn officiating. Visitation will be held from 9:30 am on Tuesday until time of the service.
Burial will be in the Tuscola Township Cemetery, Tuscola, IL
Dennis was born on June 6, 1947 in Decatur, IL, the son of Claude and Eileen Carson Luster.
Survivors include his mother, brothers and sisters: Vickie Luster, Donald Luster, Janet Luster, Doyle (Ann) Luster and Karen Luster, nephew: Wesley and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his father and a brother: Dale.
Memorials are suggested to the Special Olympics Illinois, 605 East Willow Street, Normal, IL 61761-2682
Dennis worked for the Decatur School District for 31 years and he also worked for Flaugher Electric for 10 years.
Dennis was a lifetime member of the NRA. He was an avid antique toy and motorcycle memorabilia collector. He loved going to auctions.
