Dennis R. Jones, 64, of Villa Grove, IL, passed away at 2:30 a.m., Monday, November 20, 2017 at the Carle Foundation Hospital, Urbana, IL

Funeral Services will be held at 3:00 p.m., Wednesday, November 22, 2017 at the Hilligoss Shrader Funeral Home, 705 South Main Street, Tuscola, IL. Burial with military graveside rites accorded will follow in the Tuscola Township Cemetery.

Visitation will be held 1 hour prior to the services at the funeral home.

Dennis was born on August 4, 1953 in Tuscola, IL, the son of Carroll H. and Nettie Fern Bird Jones.

Surviving is his brother: Jerry Jones of Tuscola and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Dennis graduated from Tuscola High School and Southern Illinois University. He served his country in US Air Force during the Vietnam War. Dennis worked as an Electronics Technician for Frasca International in Urbana for 27 years.
