Delcia Mae Adkins, 83, of Lawrenceville, IL, formerly of Philo, IL, died at 3:00 P.M., Saturday, November 11, 2006 at the Lawrenceville Manor, Lawrenceville, IL

Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 PM, Wednesday, November 15, 2006 at the Hilligoss Shrader Funeral Home, 705 South Main Street, Tuscola, IL, with the Rev. Jayson Garcia officiating. Visitation will be held from 6-8 PM, Tuesday, November 14, 2006 at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Locust Grove Cemetery, Philo, IL

Mrs. Adkins was born on June 26, 1923 in North Springs, TN, the daughter of Raymond and Cindy Price Cross. She married Samuel M. "Jack" Adkins on October 12, 1940 in Tompkinsville, KY. He preceded her in death on September 7, 1987.

Survivors include: 3 Sons: Robert Adkins of Ashmore, IL, Tim Adkins, Sr. of Longview, IL, Henry Adkins of Villa Grove, IL, 3 Daughters: Joan Mattingly of Oakland, IL, Linda Seaton of Broadlands, IL, Sue Ingram of Oakland, IL, 2 Brothers: Ted Cross of Red Boiling Springs, TN, James Cross of Oakland, IL, 3 Sisters: Ellen Turner of Tolono, IL, Hazel White of Loudon, TN, Ruth Bohall of Westport, IN, 46 Grandchildren, 31 Great-Grandchildren, 3 Great-Great-Grandchildren

She was preceded in death by her parents, 1 Son: Danny Adkins, 2 Grandsons, 2 Brothers.

Mrs. Adkins was a homemaker. She was enjoyed cooking, sewing, making pillows, dancing, music and spending time with her family.
