Debbie R. Nacke, 73, of Arcola, died at 6:00 a.m. Thursday, March 19, 2026 at her residence surrounded by her family.

Debbie was born December 1, 1952 in Tuscola, the daughter of Willis and Mary Barbee Jolley. She married Mark Nacke on December 28, 1982.

She is survived by her husband, Mark Nacke of Arcola; daughter, Natalie Nacke of Arcola; and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Kathy Jolley.

Debbie was a graduate of Tuscola High School and received her B.S. in Education at the University of Illinois. She taught second grade in the Arcola Community School District for 40 years. Teaching was Debbie’s passion and there is no doubt she made a lasting impression on countless students over the years. After retiring, she served on the board of the Arcola Public Library.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, March 24, 2026 at the Shrader Funeral Home, 204 N. Locust Street, Arcola, with Father Michael Trummer officiating. Burial will follow in the Arcola Cemetery. Visitation will be 4:00-7:00 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
