Deborah Winona "Debbie" Dunagan, 60, of Arcola, died at 7:14 AM Tuesday, December 11, 2012 at her residence in Arcola.
The funeral service will be held at 10:30 AM Saturday, December 15, 2012 at the Arcola Presbyterian Church (USA), 311 E. Jefferson Street, Arcola, with Rev. Donald Winch officiating. Burial will follow in the Arcola Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4:00-8:00 PM Friday at Shrader Funeral Home, 204 N. Locust Street, Arcola.
Debbie was born December 29, 1951 in Tuscola. She married Douglas Dunagan in Arcola on Nov. 7, 1998.
Survivors include her husband, Doug Dunagan of Arcola; her son, Ryan Komlertkul of Chicago; birth father, Joseph Patridge of Encino, California; 3 brothers, Dan (Karen) Wesch; Steve (Becky) Wesch; Jim (Connie) Wesch; sister, Lianne (Jeff) Myers; all of Arcola; stepson, Curt Dunagan of Boston, Massachusetts; stepdaughter, Chris (Jim) Fishel of Arcola; 4 step grandchildren, Rachel, Wyatt, Rylee, and Ryann Fishel.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Phil and Cathy Wesch.
Debbie graduated from Arcola High School in the class of 1970. She moved from California back to Arcola in 1990. She was employed by the Thomas Monahan Company where she was manager of customer services. In January, 2011, she became Vice-President of Marketing for Monahan Partners, but she also did purchasing, human resources, and payroll. She had legions of loyal customers who would only talk to her.
Debbie was a prolific reader, avid Illini fan, enjoyed gardening, and especially loved her golden retrievers.
