Dean Sigrist, 71, of Camargo, IL, died at 3:20 P.M., Thursday, August 17, 2006 at his residence.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 A.M., Monday, August 21, 2006 at the Hilligoss Shrader Funeral Home, 705 South Main Street, Tuscola, IL, with Father Barry Harmon officiating. Visitation will be held 1 hour prior at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Tuscola Township Cemetery, Tuscola, IL.

Mr. Sigrist was born October 17, 1934 in Farina, IL, the son of Theodore and Phyllis Yund Sigrist. He married Gail Campbell on June 20, 1952 in Carlyle, IL. She preceded him in death on November 20, 2003.

Survivors include: 3 Sons: Michael Sigrist and wife: Lisa of Arcola, IL, Stephen Sigrist and wife: Laura of Villa Grove, IL, Gregory Sigrist and wife: Barbara of New York, New York, 2 Daughters: Vicki Gilbert and husband: David of Arcola, IL, June Harshbarger and husband: Roger of Atwood, IL, 1 Brother: Douglas Sigrist of Farina, IL, 2 Sisters: Marilyn Kramer of Farina, IL, Kathleen Engel of Farina, IL, 9 Grandchildren, 3 Great-Grandchildren

He was preceded by his parents.

Mr. Sigrist retired from Quantum-USI Chemical Company, Tuscola, IL in 1996, where he worked as an operator for 40 years. He was a member of the St. John's Catholic Church in Arcola, IL. He loved sports of all kinds. He was an avid fisherman and golfer. He was a former Little League and Pony League baseball coach.
