Darin S. "Peanut" Rich, 42, of Tuscola, IL passed away at 10:52 am Sunday, December 24, 2023 at Carle Foundation Hospital, Urbana, IL.

Memorial Visitation will be held from 4-6 p.m. Tuesday, January 2, 2024 at the Hilligoss Shrader Funeral Home, 705 South Main Street, Tuscola, IL.

Graveside services will be at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, January 3, 2024 at the Arcola Cemetery, Arcola, IL with Rev. Joe Carter officiating.

Darin was born May 24, 1981 in Tuscola, the son of Gary F. and Deborah J. Harris Rich.

He is survived by 2 brothers: Travis (Amber) Rich of Atwood and Justin Rich of Tuscola, 2 nieces: Courtney and Kori and several aunts, uncle and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Darin previously worked at Masterbrand for several years. He enjoyed working on cars and going to car shows.  He liked hot rods, motorcycles and almost anything else with a motor.  Darin enjoyed spending time with his nieces. The kids he was around always loved him.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
