Danny Lee Gullion, 67, of Arcola died at 4:28 p.m. Wednesday, December 19, 2018 at Sarah Bush Lincoln Health Center, Mattoon.

Memorial services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Thursday, December 27, 2018 at Shrader Funeral Home, Arcola, with Rev. Matt Stump officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Military rites will be accorded.

Danny was born November 25, 1951 in Mattoon, the son of Howard "Ned" and Betty Janes Gullion. He married Vickie Mason in Arcola on November 14, 1975; she survives.

Surviving are his wife, Vickie Gullion of Arcola; children, Amy Gullion of Sullivan; Jeremy (Jennifer) Gullion of Arcola; Tiffany (Kevin) Gullion-Kreig of Wood River; mother, Betty Swanson of Palmetto, Florida; grandchilden, Gunnar (Hannah) Brown; Holly Lamb; Danny Lee Gullion; great grandson, Clark Brown; 4 brothers, Mike (Debby) Gullion of Bradenton, Florida; Jack Gullion of Nashville, IL; Dave (Donna) Gullion of Weldon. He was preceded in death by his father, "Ned" Gullion; stepfather, Fred Swanson; and brother, Jerry Gullion.

Danny was a graduate of Mattoon High School Class of 1969. He was a driver for Kraft Foods in Champaign for 35 years.

Danny served in the U.S. Army.

Danny loved his children, grandchildren, and golfing. He wore Bob Marley wigs during his treatment.
