Obituary
D. Ray Northway, 58, of Champaign, IL passed away at 3:01 p.m. Tuesday, April 9, 2013 at Presence Covenant Hospital, Urbana, IL.
Visitation will be held from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm Friday, April 12, 2013 at the Hilligoss Shrader Funeral Home, 705 South Main Street Tuscola, IL.
Mr. Northway was born May 3, 1954 in Tuscola, IL the son of Delbert and Lois Katel Northway. He married Cathy Conner on June 5, 1982 in Tuscola, IL. She survives.
Other survivors include his sons: Thomas R. Northway and wife Karissa of Urbana, IL and Brion E. Northway of Urbana, IL and a granddaughter: Alexis Northway.
He was preceded in death by his father and sister: Alice Duggins.
Ray was a United States Navy Veteran. He retired from the University of Illinois after many years of service.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations are suggested to the American Diabetes Association: 2580 Federal Drive Suite 403, Decatur, IL 62526 or the American Heart Association: 3816 Paysphere Circle, Chicago, IL 60674.
