Cynthia Sue Miller, of Hindsboro, Illinois, passed away on November 29, 2022, after a long illness.  She was 74 years old.

She was born December 16, 1947 in Aurora, the daughter of Norwood and Barbara Betz Ashley.  Cynthia spent her childhood and first part of her adult life in Yorkville, Illinois, where she raised four children, Mark Leifheit of Chicago; Neal (Amy) Leifheit of Greenville, South Carolina; Heidi (Kevin) Bradley of Arlington Heights; and Kurt (Amy) Leifheit of Mattoon.    She is survived by her four children and six grandchildren.

Cynthia moved to East Central Illinois in 2003 and lived there until the time of her death.  She enjoyed cooking, sewing, and keeping an impeccably clean home, but her greatest love was her family.   All of her children were proud to call her mom.  One of her happiest moments was witnessing the birth of her youngest grandchild, Isla Leifheit, in 2016.

There were countless people that supported Cynthia throughout her life, including her children, her siblings Jeff, Cathy and Nan, and her friend Stephen Swank.  In recent years, Cynthia was cared for by a compassionate team of providers at Carle Health and Odd-Fellow Rebekah.  She always looked forward to visits from her loving family.
