Cynthia Ann Lust, 58, of Champaign, IL, formerly of Bement, IL, passed away at 4:40 a.m., Tuesday, October 14, 2014 at the Kirby Medical Center, Monticello, IL

Cynthia was born on March 17, 1956 in Decatur, IL, the daughter of Herbert F. and Frances Ann Halterman Lust, Sr.

Survivors include her parents of Bement, IL, brothers: Herb Lust, Jr. of Hammond, IL, Howard (Kay) Lust of Bement, IL, sisters: Kathryn Lust of San Francisco, CA and Donna (John) Parks of Urbana, IL, as well as two nephews, three nieces, one great-nephew and one great-niece.

She was preceded in death by her sister-in-law: Cheryl Lust, maternal grandparents: Joe & Frances Halterman of Bement and paternal grandparents: Henry C. and Audrey V. Lust of Hammond

Cindy was a 1974 graduate of Bement High School and a 1978 graduate of Monmoth College, where she was a member of the Pi Beta Phi Sorority. She was the Director of Operations at IPAT in Champaign. Cindy loved staying fit and was an avid swimmer as well as a loyal Illini Basketball fan. She was a member of the Faith United Methodist Church of Champaign.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 3:00 p.m., Sunday, October 19, 2014 at the Bement First Christian Church, 164 East Wing Street, Bement, IL. Hilligoss Shrader Funeral Home, 66 East US Highway 36 is in charge of the arrangements.

Memorials may be given to the ALS Foundation or the United Way of Champaign County.
