Cornelia A. Davison, 96, of Arthur, IL, passed away at 5:45 a.m., Sunday, February 19, 2017 at Mason Point, Sullivan, IL.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, February 24, 2017 at the Shrader Funeral Home, 431 South Vine Street, Arthur, IL with Rev. Mike Johnson and Rev. Paul Fraser officiating. Burial will follow in the Arthur Cemetery, Arthur, IL. Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 23, 2017 from 4-6 pm at the funeral home.

Mrs. Davison was born January 3, 1921 in Falls of Rough, KY, the daughter of Sanders and Hattie Wilhelm Willoughby. She married Maurice Davison on February 17, 1941. He preceded her in death on October 7, 1975.

Cornelia is survived by her grandson: Shawn (Angie) Davison of Arthur, IL and their children: Finnian, Faeryn and Faemus Davison; granddaughter: Shannon (John) Powell of Cross Roads, TX; Joan, who was like her daughter and various beloved nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son: Robert "Bob" Davison and siblings: Blythe, James, Woody and Mary.

Cornelia was a member of the Vine Street Christian Church, Arthur, IL. She did a lot of volunteer work with Meals on Wheels, The Arthur Home and the Arthur Lions Club.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Meals on Wheels or the Vine Street Christian Church.
