Connie Jean Williams, 63, of Urbana, IL, formerly of Atwood, IL, passed away at 7:13 p.m. Thursday, February 19, 2015 at Carle Foundation Hospital, Urbana, IL.
Connie was born October 3, 1951 at Burnham City Hospital, Champaign, IL, the daughter of R.J. and Betty Gulley Williams.
Survivors include her mother: Betty Jean Myers of Champaign, IL, son: Jamie Williams and wife Allana of Belleville, IL; brother: Jim Williams and wife Ruth Ann of Tuscola, IL and 2 grandchildren: Maddi and Tytus Williams of Belleville, IL.
Connie was preceded in death by her father and dog, best friend and companion "Lucky".
She was a health care provider, working as a nurse, specializing in labor and delivery and surgery. Connie was a longtime member of Grace Baptist Church in Urbana, IL. She was an amazing grandma, a lover of peach cobbler and an enthusiastic sing-a-longer of countless 1960's songs.
