Connie Kleiss, 74, of Tuscola, IL, passed away at 10:36 a.m., Sunday, December 24, 2017 at the Carle Foundation Hospital, Urbana, IL.

Graveside Services will be held at 10 a.m., Saturday, July 14, 2018 at the St. Joseph's Cemetery, Pesotum, IL

Connie was born on April 23, 1943 in Urbana, IL, the daughter of Arnold Leroy and Izetta Marie McKimmy Weasel. She married Stephen R. Kleiss. He preceded her in death on October 28, 2016.

Survivors include her sons: James Russian of Tuscola, Christopher "David" Russian of Champaign and Robert Russian of Pesotum, step-daughter: Bonnie Dudley of Champaign, step-sons: Kurt Kleiss of Auburn and Todd Kleiss of Tuscola, grandchildren: Terin (Mark) Ashby, Robert D. and Morgan Russian, great-grandchildren: Trinity, Adelynn and Levi Ashby, step-grandchildren: Marcus and Christopher Kleiss, brother: Robert (Janet) Weasel of Villa Grove and sister: Susan Sondag of Champaign.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Connie was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Urbana, IL. She worked at Sears, Christie Clinic and Carle Clinic. Connie loved crafting and decorating her home. She really loved both of her dogs: Shelby and Allie.

Memorials are suggested to Hospice Hearts or the SAM Food Pantry.
