Clyde Sturgell Jr., 100, of Camarillo, CA, formerly of Tuscola, IL, died on September 1, 2018.

Clyde was the son of Clyde and Nettie J. Wimple Sturgell, Sr., loving husband of Ann Lewis Sturgell, passed away peacefully while napping and woke up in Heaven, Praise God.

He was preceded in death by his grandson: Shane David Antle and first wife: Dolores Watson Sturgell.

He is survived by his wife: Ann, daughter: Jane Antle of Camarillo, step-sons: Matthew Cody of St. Johns, FL, Anthony Clements of Camarillo, step-daughter: DeAnna Clements of Camarillo, grandson: Dr. Shawn Antle and wife Lisa, great-grandchildren: Drew Antle and Lauren Antle of Wisconsin.
Clyde was president of Mid-Continental Oil Corporation and an entrepreneur with over 23 businesses during his lifetime. He was a pilot and loved flying. He also loved cars and had a car museum in Illinois. Clyde was a lifetime member of the Loyal Order of the Moose, Lodge 3000 & lifetime member of the Elks, Champaign-Urbana Illinois, Lodge 2497.

He was wonderful and witty, truly a unique man and will be greatly missed by family and friends.

Graveside services in his honor will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, December 7, 2018 at the Tuscola Township Cemetery, Tuscola, IL with Pastor Jason Braaten officiating.
