Clifton H. "Clif" Reifsteck, 89, of Tuscola, IL, formerly of Sadorus, IL, passed away at 8:30 p.m., Thursday, October 1, 2009 at his residence.

Funeral Services will be held at 10 a.m., Monday, Ocotober 5, 2009 at the St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 101 East Church, Sadorus, IL. Visitation will be held from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m., Sunday, October 4, 2009 at the Hilligoss Shrader Funeral Home, 705 South Main Street, Tuscola, IL. Burial will be in the Lewis Cemetery, rural Tuscola, IL.

Mr. Reifsteck was born on July 16, 1920 in Sadorus, IL, the son of Herman and Esther Drews Reifsteck. He married Ruth G. Rahn on January 27, 1941 in Tuscola, IL. She passed away on November 15, 1983. Clif married Mary McCollam on August 15, 1985 in Sadorus, IL. She survives.

He is survived by two daughters: Joan (Bob) Vukelich of Tuscola, Sandra (Ross) Oehmke of Champaign and son-in-law: Bruce Weatherford of Tuscola, 9 Grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren. He is also survived by a step-daughter: Jackie (Carroll) Brookins and step-son: Lyle "Butch" (Kathy) McCollam both of Tuscola. 7 step-grandchildren and 6 step-great-grandchildren.

Clif was preceded in death by his parents, daughter: Janet L. Weatherford, step-son: Paul McCollam, sisters: Gertrude Clark, Evelyn Mohr and brother: Everett Reifsteck

He was a farmer, worked at USI and retired from Grand Prairie Elevator in Sadorus. He was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church. He was a avid Chicago Cubs fan and a terrific jokester.

In lieu of flowers, the family has suggested that memorials be made to the Carle Hospice, St. Paul's Lutheran Church or the Ronald McDonald House, Indianapolis, IN.
