Christopher T. Schweighart, 40, of Tuscola, IL, passed away at 10:40 p.m., Sunday, January 27, 2019 at the Carle Foundation Hospital, Urbana, IL

Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Friday, February 1, 2019 at the Hilligoss Shrader Funeral Home, 705 South Main Street, Tuscola, IL. Burial will follow in the Tuscola Township Cemetery, Tuscola, IL

Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m., Thursday, January 31, 2019 at the funeral home.

Chris was born on April 20, 1978 in Urbana, IL, the son of Thomas M. Schweighart and Vicki Harris.

Survivors include his son: David Thomas Schweighart of Tuscola, girlfriend: Sandy Eiben of Tuscola, mother: Vicki Hamilton of TN, maternal grandmother: Ruth Harris of Tuscola, paternal grandmother: Shirley Schweighart of Tuscola, brothers: Joseph (Emily) Schweighart of Atwood, Brandon (Marie) Likens and Matthew Likens both of TN, 3 nieces and 4 nephews, many aunts and uncles.

He was preceded in death by his father and grandfathers: Kenneth Harris and Joseph Schweighart.

Chris was a truck driver. He was a 1997 graduate of Tuscola Community High School. He enjoyed having family cookouts, fishing and hunting.
