Charles I. "Chuck" Jones, 77, of Tuscola, IL, passed away suddenly at 11:04 p.m., Wednesday, April 15, 2015 at his residence.

Funeral Services will be held at 3:00 p.m., Saturday, April 18, 2015 at the Hilligoss Shrader Funeral Home, 705 South Main Street, Tuscola, IL with Rev. Joseph Carter officiating.Burial will be in the Tuscola Township Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 1 to 3 p.m. on Saturday at the funeral home.

Chuck was born on August 5, 1937 in Lansing, Michigan, the son of Lucien and Vera Scholes Jones. He married Joyce M. Smith on October 20, 1956 in Atwood, IL. She survives.

Other survivors include his son: Gary Jones and fiancée Trina of Atwood, daughters: Sherry Carter and husband: Brian of Tuscola, Lisa Wierman and husband: Kyle of Atwood, grandchildren: Jason (Mimi) Jones, Jeff Jones, Phillip Jones, Kaitlyn Carter, Marshal Wierman, Kyle Wierman and Tara Juzeszyn, great-grandchildren: Morgan, Mason, Ashton, Payton, Kaylee, Austin, Jase and Avery, sister: Anita Thompson of Gainesville, FL.

Chuck was preceded in death by his parents, brothers: Bill & Bob Jones and sister: Louise Wilson

Memorials may be made to the donor's choice.

Chuck was a truck driver. He formerly worked for Ecoff Trucking and he retired from Rogers Cartage. Chuck was a member of the Teamster's Local #26, Champaign, IL. He enjoyed fishing, camping, hunting and gardening.
