Catherine Maxine Buckles, 89, of Champaign, IL, passed away at 1:05 AM, Sunday, June 3, 2007 at the home of her niece in Champaign, IL
Graveside Services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, June 6, 2007 at the Tuscola Township Cemetery, Tuscola, IL, with the Rev. Mark Elliot officiating. No Visitation will be held. The Hilligoss Shrader Funeral Home, 705 South Main Street, Tuscola, IL is handling the arrangements.
Mrs. Buckles was born on March 14, 1918, she was the daughter of Laban T. and Mahala F. Masters Tabor.
Survivors include: 2 Nieces: Pam Luhrsen of Champaign, IL, Kim Heinzemann of Alexandria, VA, 2 Great-Nephews: Jeremy and Brad, 2 Great-Great Nephews: Tyler and Noah and 1 Great-Great-Niece: Emma
She was preceded in death by her parents, 3 Brothers and 3 Sisters.
Mrs. Buckles was a member of the First Baptist Church of Champaign, Savoy, IL. She retired from Illinois Bell Telephone Company, Champaign, IL, where she worked as a telephone operator for over 35 years. She was a member of the Telephone Pioneers.
